They say the only constant in life is change, so I’m guessing that time is now, for me…
Recently I was graced with a beautiful opportunity to continue my passion and love for optometry a little closer to home. And as life changes and kids get bigger, it’s something I couldn’t turn away. But with that excitement comes the reality that I need to say farewell to the only family that I’ve known in optometry for the last 17 years.
I just want to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the linksfield team. Thank you for the love, the advice and the wealth of knowledge that has been shared with me over the years. It’s been remarkable. I just don’t know how to thank you all enough. Each one of you has played an immense part in my growth as a person, as an optometrist, and I’ve got so much gratitude and thanks to give to each and every single one of you there.
To my patients that I’ve grown to love, the relationships I’ve built – those that have seen me through my pregnant days, the changes that we’ve been through, that have stuck through it through thick and thin – I also don’t know how to thank you enough. I thank you for giving me the honour and opportunity to serve you and to allow you to see our crazy world a little bit clearer.
If you’re looking for me, the staff at linksfield will with pleasure let you know where I am, but they’ll also still be there to carry on giving you that love and care that we’ve always done.
So with that, I just want to say thank you again. My heart is filled with gratitude for the opportunity to have been on this wonderful adventure.
This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do – to walk away from my other baby.
Now it’s time for this little bird to spread her wings and get out of her comfort zone and try something new.
I will miss you all.
With love,
Tenille
